SENIOR QS/ESTIMATOR
Should have 5 – 8 years in the telecom domain mainly involved in estimating for site roll-out, equipment installation and site maintenance project. The candidates must have a full knowledge of the telecom industry and its associated support services business. He/she must have a degree an in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution and be registered. An MBA will definitely be an advantage. A team player with a very good communication skills and willing to work to specific deadline
The job description related to the position is as follows:
Responsible for quoting for all projects related to the telecom support domain
Liaise with the customer to negotiable all quotation sent together with the marketing team
Select the right combination of resources to execute a contract
To manage the whole cost structured related to projects
To devise all budgets associated to projects related to cost and time of implementation
To be the point of contract with partners at a commercial perspective related to projects
To attend all meeting with customer related to quoted projects till allocation
To keep track record of all quoted project status till allocation
To assist all teams in proper cost management related to projects
Manage cost during projects and carry out commercial post mortem after the execution
To be able to do estimate using state of art software tools
PROCUREMENT MANAGER
A management position that requires minimum of 5 years working experience in the same position. The candidate must be dynamic having knowledge of construction industry. He/she must possess strong negotiation skills. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement unit in one of our branches in Edo State. The candidate will be responsible for the following
Manage and review all procurement activities
Approve bid proposal/quotations and present recommendations on purchases requiring approval
Evaluate price revision and past performance of each contract
Research & evaluate commodity areas and make recommendations for standardization and additions to qualified products list
Implementation of the procurement procedures and methodology to meet company’s objective of quality, timing and cost of delivery
Development of potential and maintenance of existing supplier’s list, subsequent evaluation of suppliers, handling of suppliers negotiation in line with Company’s procedure
