SENIOR MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) ADVISOR
Who will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the program’s M&E activities in an International health project based in Nigeria which is contingent upon successful award of the contract.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
Implementing M&E system for all project activities, including finalizing program indicators
Identifying and developing data sources, developing and maintaining systems for data collection and maintenance/storage
In co-ordination with COP and home office team, prepare performance monitoring plans, as well as quarterly and annual reports and other project documents;
Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ongoing M&E data, according to the project M&E data, according to the project M&E reports as specified by the client

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Masters Degree (minimum), or PhD or MD 9desirable) in Public Health , Epidemiology, Statistics or other relevant field
- 8 years of relevant professional experience in Public Health, including significant experience in monitoring reproductive health and family planning programs highly desirable
- Three or more years of international project experience, preferably in Nigeria
- Experience it USAID desirable.
- Excellent writing, computer, management and organizational skills, experience with STATA or SPSS highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, initiative and good judgment

- Ability to independently plan and execute complex task while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long-term deadlines and strategy.
