Job Title: Team Lead (SIM Mobile Applications)

Location: Lagos
Job Description:
•Ensure technical and business understanding of the existing software applications and interfaces
•Develop and deploy APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for seamless integration between applications
•Develop and deploy bespoke applications as may be required to support the business needs
•Automate business processes into a solution such that productivity and efficiency are enhanced
•Develop and integrate web services applications for SOA compliance using J2EE, XML, and SOAP etc
•Develop mobile applications using STKML,WML,S@TML and J2ME
•Implement UNIX shell scripting.
•Adhere to and enforce all company and IS policies and standards
•Monitor and Manage problem investigation and analysis
•Perform routine system functionalities
•Organize and coordinate the activities of the Applications related Team
Job Conditions: Normal MTN Neworking conditions. Extended working hours may be required
Reporting To: ERP Applications Manager
Required Skills:
•At least 4 years experience comprising
• Experience in Applications Administration and development within the Telecommunications sector
•Experience in :
.IS support processes
.Systems integration
.Project management
.Application construction
.Information technology and application architecture
•Typical Mobile Telecommunications Applications experience with specialist expertise in one or more of the following functional areas:
.Billing systems (Corporate Retail Billing, Interconnect Billing)
.SIM Mobile Applications ( EVD, Contents Management System, SIM management Application)
.ERP systems (Distribution, Retail, Finance, Payroll, HR, Asset Management)
.GSM network interfacing applications (Provisioning, Pre-Paid management systems)
.Fraud Management Application
Employment Status : Permanent
Qualification: A first degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a reputable institution
