Our client, a major player in the Pension Fund Industry invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following position.
HEAD OF INVESTMENT RESEARCH
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out extensive research of the capital market, money and fixed income market towards identifying attractive instruments for investment.
Liaise with stockbrokers, PDMM and other financial institutions as wll as being conversant with rules and regulations that apply in the market place
Regularly provide up-to-date market information to management towards formulating an optical investment strategy.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES
A good first degree from a reputable university. A professional qualification, preferably ACA,ACA, CFA will be an added advantage
Extensive knowledge of investment concepts, strategies, sty;es and analytical methodologies from the portfolio level to individual security selection
Strong financial and analytical skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of the investment markets.
Demonstrated ability to utilize market intelligence and establish strong relationships within the business management
Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in the investment environment
REMUNERATIONS
The remuneration attached to the position is very attractive and negotiable
